There are 3 comments on When It Comes to Caregiver Health, Research Doesn’t Tell Whole Story

  1. Fantastic piece Lisa – it resonates with my experience and you raise some excellent points, especially the role of accessing the appropriate health care resources.

  2. This article is so important–thank you, Lisa. In caring for my father who has Parkinson’s Disease, my mother and I have firsthand experience in the lack of resources available for caregivers and the inability of the healthcare system to even meet us halfway with respect to my father’s care. Your words about acknowledgement hit me hard.

  3. Thanks for the explanations of the disconnect between personal experience and what the research shows about the impact of caregiving on caregivers. And for the recognition that dealing with the HC system is often a, if not the, major stressor.
