Full Agenda

This closed-door meeting brought together deans and directors of public health schools and programs from across the United States with a small number of select public health leaders from around the country. The meeting discussed the top priorities for a newly elected administration should be to help mitigate the firearm epidemic, and how academic public health might engage around encouraging these priorities. The meeting aimed to address how academic public health can be most effective in helping to “move the needle” on the public conversation around this issue. Assembled speakers represented the political, academic, and advocacy arenas, helping set the stage leading up to the discussion.
