Learning Formats.

At Boston University School of Public Health (BUSPH), we offer two types of course formats, in person (on campus) and online.

In-person courses are synchronous and generally meet for three hours per week.  In-person courses are designed to be interactive and engaging.

Online courses are asynchronous and self-paced.  Course content may include online lectures, videos, interactive animations, discussion boards, electronic portfolios, Web conferencing, and more.  Online courses have scheduled deliverables and weekly live sessions which are used for application, case studies, interaction and discussion.

BUSPH is committed to high-quality education, and that commitment is found in every course.
