Cybercrime and Counter-Intelligence Threats to the Academic Ecosystem: A Presentation by FBI Special Agent Scott McGaunn.

FBI Special Agent Scott McGaunn will discuss trends in cybercrime and counterintelligence that affect the academic ecosystem, including nation-state hacking of research facilities, insider threats, and academic espionage. Particular emphasis will be placed on nation-state adversaries who have repeatedly demonstrated that they are capable and enjoined in stealing the intellectual capital of universities in the Boston area.
