Dear SPH community,

There are a lot of unknowns right now, and this can lead to a lot of anxiety, stress, fear, and feeling overwhelmed. 

As your Wellness Coordinator, please know that I will be available to meet with people via Zoom or phone during this remote time to make a plan for self-care, to process, and to explore resources.

Additionally, Student Health Services put together recommendations for caring for yourself here.

Some other tips for managing during this time include:

  • Make a list of what is in your control vs. not.  It can be helpful to see this on paper and focus on what is in your control right now. 
  • Set up phone dates with family and friends. Now can be a good time to catch up with those you typically don’t have time to do so with. 
  • Play Chopped in your kitchen, making meals out of various ingredients you have around.
  • Know that you are not alone in your feelings.
