Dear Colleagues:

Welcome to the 200th edition of SPH This Week.

Since SPH This Week started on January 4, 2015, it has run every Sunday morning, excepting brief breaks in August and over the winter break.

Throughout the past four-plus years, SPH This Week has provided a regular snapshot of our school—our events, the activities of our students and alumni, the work of our scholars, and writeups about our community’s broader engagement with the public debate through television, print, and online media.

SPH This Week has been informed, as is all our work, by a focus on the social, economic, and environmental forces that shape health, and our efforts to place these forces at the center of the health conversation—to change the narrative about health in this country. SPH This Week has been a key vehicle for communicating this message.

For their work on SPH This Week, and on much else, I am deeply grateful to our Communications team, whose excellent work has been recognized both within our community and among our peer schools. Please join me in thanking our Communications team for all they do to help to advance our school’s message and mission.

And, perhaps centrally, a thank you to our community of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of the school who read SPH TW, and who keep in touch with us through SPH TW, and whose engagement with our school makes us all stronger, every day.

Warmly,

Sandro
