Join us to interact with and learn from astronauts aboard the International Space Station in a question-and-answer session.<\/div>\n

\"NASA\"Members of the BU and BUA communities and their families are invited to join the Boston University Downlink event (designed to provide a special opportunity for middle school, high school, college students, and educators) on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at the George Sherman Union (775 Commonwealth Avenue)<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

NASA astronaut and BU alum Bob Hines (ENG\u201997) will connect with us live from the International Space Station. He and his fellow Crew-4 astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti will field questions from students in the audience and participate in a question-and-answer session.<\/p>\n

Doors will open at 11:15 am and programming will begin at 11:25 am. Come join us as we prepare to hear live from the astronauts at noon.\u00a0<\/strong> For the remainder of the program we will celebrate Bob\u2019s accomplishments, learn about BU\u2019s larger role in space exploration, hear from local and national leaders, and test our knowledge on some themed trivia.\u00a0\u00a0 To attend, please use the link to RSVP below.<\/p>\n
