Her current work examines the Qing dynasty\u2019s epidemic policy during the Manchurian Plague (1910\u20131911). She earned a B.M. in Clinical Medicine from Zhejiang University, during which she worked as a intern doctor at affiliated hospitals for two years and developed her interest in sociology.
