Rhoten, Esq., is a municipal policy leader, social justice advocate, and practicing attorney currently serving at the City of Boston\u2019s Mayor\u2019s Office of LGBTQIA2S+ Advancement, where they help design and implement initiatives that expand community resources for LGBTQIA2S+ residents. A graduate of Boston University\u2019s Department of Sociology, Kimberly\u2019s work focuses on translating research and community engagement into practical policy solutions. In addition to their public service, they contribute to national conversations on family law and emerging issues affecting LGBTQIA2S+ communities.
