This student run competition is focused on developing the optimal design, manufacturing, operations and product strategy for solid state lighting technologies under development at the National Science Foundation (NSF) Smart Lighting Engineering Research Center (ERC). There are seven student teams from BU, one team from Tufts and one team from Babson. Teams, made up with both graduate and undergraduates, compete by devising approaches to a Smart Lighting case<\/a>. The case is authored by Professor Tom Little who leads the BU portion of the National Science Foundation Smart Lighting Engineering Research Center.<\/p>\n
