Meet the Sexperts!<\/h4>\n

Ju Derraik, Intimacy Coordinator<\/strong><\/h3>

\nJu Derraik (she\/her)<\/strong> is a senior studying sociology and psychology. With funding from UROP, she has spent the past two years researching how LGBTQ+ individuals are using sex and intimacy to repair negative body-image. In addition to her research, she works as an intimacy coordinator for student film and theatre, and she is also a sexual health ambassador for Student Health Services. Upon graduation, she intends to continue intimacy coordinating while pursuing a graduate education in relationship counseling and sex therapy.

Cecilia Villero, Pleasure Educator<\/strong><\/h3>

\nCecilia Villero (she\/her\/siya), aka Goddess Cecilia <\/strong>, is a Filipina Pleasure Educator, and curator of pleasure experiences and products through her company and online shop \u201cMer-Made for Pleasure.\u201d As an EDSE Certified Sex Educator, she creates trauma-informed sex-positive spaces, leads playful workshops, and volunteers with sexual violence survivor supporting orgs. She also co-hosts Sex Trivia at Long Live Beerworks, and co-founded Sex Week Boston, which is on May 10th-17th. Find her as @GoddessCecilia everywhere.

Jess Tjong, Family Nurse Practitioner<\/strong><\/h3>

\nJess Tjong (she\/her)<\/strong> has been a primary care Family Nurse Practitioner at BU Student Health Services for almost 3 years. A routine part of her day involves discussing contraceptive options, safe sex practices, infection prevention, and STI testing with students. She is excited to answer your questions about sexual health, testing, anatomy, etc.

Nathan Brewer, Director of SARP<\/strong><\/h3>

\nNathan Brewer (he\/him)<\/strong> is a clinical social worker with 20 years of experience in clinical practice, research, and teaching, specializing in dating violence, sexual assault, and LGBTQ+ health. As the Director of SARP, he oversees BU\u2019s comprehensive crisis counseling services, including a 24-hour crisis line, victim advocacy and accompaniment, and individual and group counseling. Additionally, he leads BU\u2019s violence prevention programming, encompassing awareness events, educational trainings, and student leadership development. Nathan is passionate about providing trauma-informed care, ensuring equity in health services, and developing innovative violence prevention strategies.
