We prevent interpersonal violence through education and we compassionately respond to survivors of trauma to promote healing. We define interpersonal violence to be inclusive of sexual violence, dating violence, stalking, sexual harassment, and hate violence.\n\n<strong><em>Goals:<\/em><\/strong>\n\n\n<ul>\n \t\n\n<li><strong>Raise<\/strong> awareness and broaden the BU community\u2019s understanding of interpersonal violence<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li><strong>Educate<\/strong> and enhance the skills of community members towards the creation of safe and healthy relationships.<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li><strong>Promote<\/strong> survivor healing through trauma-informed counseling<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li><strong>Advocate<\/strong> for survivors through empowerment, education, and accompaniment<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li><strong>Influence<\/strong> local and global efforts to prevent and respond to interpersonal violence<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li><strong>Respond<\/strong> compassionately to traumatic events that impact the BU community<\/li>\n\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<em><strong>Our History:<\/strong><\/em>\n\nThe Survivor Advocacy, Response &amp; Prevention Center (SARP) was established in 2012.
