Yes. Students’ individual answers to questions in the training are not shared with BU. We only receive students’ responses as a whole population. This information is used to understand students’ knowledge of resources and inform future programming and policies.
Can students get a waiver for the training?
We understand that taking this may be difficult for students who have experienced sexual or relationship violence. If you have concerns about completing the training due to its content, a waiver can be confidentially requested through the PatientConnect portal.
Why are there different trainings for incoming and returning students?
Returning students take a follow-up training (Sexual Assault Prevention Ongoing: Taking Action) that builds upon information and skills learned in the first training. You’ll revisit skills for intervening and explore new concepts to empower you to take action in situations that could lead to sexual misconduct.
Does the training include accessibility features?

You can also change your preferred language for certain parts of the training. To do this, toggle the language option to the right of your email address within the training.
