The BU Alcohol Task Force works collaboratively to reduce high-risk drinking. The Task Force partners to facilitate research-backed prevention initiatives, promote healthy decision making, and foster campus-wide responsibility to address high-risk drinking.
About the Task Force
Task Force initiatives have included:
- Improvements to alcohol policies and enforcement
- Education about party safety before Marathon Monday
- Community meetings to promote substance-free programs
- Campaigns to communicate social norms and safer drinking strategies
- Comprehensive reviews of alcohol prevention, intervention, and recovery programs
