1985-2009 Women in the World

Women in the World, formerly Women of the Word, is an amazing conference held each spring by the Anna Howard Shaw Center.

Those involved are dedicated to making it an educational weekend for women interested in learning more about women and their place in the church and society.

This national preaching event offers women the opportunity to hear other women preach, as well as attend workshops on preaching and worship.

Nationally recognized bishops, teachers, artists, and theologians serve as primary leadership.
