In fact, the Federal Work-Study Program encourages students to participate in community service opportunities including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Health care<\/li>\n<li>Childcare<\/li>\n<li>Literacy programs<\/li>\n<li>Public recreational development<\/li>\n<li>Neighborhood improvement<\/li>\n<li>Support services for the disabled and elderly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Boston University\u2019s Student Employment welcomes the opportunity to work with community service driven departments on campus and with off-campus nonprofit organizations. If you are interested in a community service position that is not listed, please <a href=\"https:\/\/bu.service-now.com\/sp?id=sc_category&amp;sys_id=944a01b393201e10d2473ad97bba104d&amp;catalog_id=-1&amp;spa=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">contact us<\/a>.
