Please help us celebrate another successful program this year. If you have a student who goes above and beyond in the performance of their job, consider submitting a nomination- it\u2019s a great way to show your appreciation for all of your student\u2019s hard work!<\/p>\n<p>This year student nominations will be ranked in one of four categories: <strong><em>Community Service, Leadership, Innovation and Technology, <\/em><\/strong>or<em><\/em><strong><em> Critical Thinking<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0Nominators will be asked to select a category the nominee excels in most and draft a nomination letter.<\/p>\n<p>Nomination letters should describe the student\u2019s duties and accomplishments that you feel qualify them for the award and touch upon the following points:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The nominee\u2019s greatest attributes, as they relate to the job.<\/li>\n<li>How the nominee has gone above and beyond the standard work expectations.<\/li>\n<li>The quality of the nominee\u2019s work and work style.<\/li>\n<li>The nominee\u2019s leadership skills, initiative, and motivation.<\/li>\n<li>The impact the nominee has had on your department, campus, and community.<\/li>\n<li>The qualities of the nominee that set them apart from other student employees.<\/li>\n<li>Help your nomination stand out from the pack- personal anecdotes of your interactions with the student are always welcome!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Tell us a story and be as comprehensive as possible to give your student the best chance to win!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nomination letters should be uploaded as part of filling out the <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/r\/KgfCzJrBaz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">nomination form<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The students chosen as the Undergraduate and Graduate Student Employees of the Year, along with all nominated students and their supervisors, will be honored at a celebration in April.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nominations are due by March 13, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nominations are now being accepted for Undergraduate and Graduate Student Employee of the Year.
