Parodi, PhD, EdM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Scholarly, Research, and\/or Practice Interests<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Katharine (Katie) Parodi is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Boston University Sargent College of Health &amp; Rehabilitation Sciences. She completed her doctoral education and postdoctoral training in the Department of Counseling Psychology and Applied Human Development at the Boston University Wheelock College of Education &amp; Human Development. Dr. Parodi\u2019s clinical training focused on delivering evidence-based interventions with children, adolescents, and families. Her research examines temporal trends in child and adolescent mental health and modifiable contextual factors contributing to the health and well-being of sexual and gender diverse youth. Dr. Parodi has contributed to studies investigating root causes of bias-based bullying among adolescents. Her work has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals, including <em>Social Psychiatry and Psychiatric Epidemiology<\/em> and <em>Journal of School Psychology<\/em>.
