As the director of the\u00a0<span data-path-to-node=\"16\" data-index-in-node=\"117\">Motor Development Laboratory<\/span>, she studies walking and motor functioning across the lifespan, with a special focus on how childhood and adult obesity impact our ability to adapt to change.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"17\">Using advanced tools like\u00a0<span data-path-to-node=\"17\" data-index-in-node=\"26\">wearable sensors and digital pressure mats<\/span>, Dr. Gill analyzes how children and adults modify their walking patterns.
