The festivities will begin on Friday, May 14<sup>th<\/sup> and continue through Saturday, May 15<sup>th<\/sup> with the Alumni Luncheon beginning at noon and BU Night at the Pops.\u00a0 The Annual Class Secretaries Meeting will be held directly before the Luncheon. \u00a0You will receive a formal invitation in the mail so keep your eyes peeled!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As many of you know, this is BU\u2019s commencement weekend as well as several other Universities in the area.\u00a0 Room availability is limited.\u00a0 We will have a limited number of rooms available on campus in the Warren Towers.\u00a0 There will be single and double rooms available.\u00a0 To reserve a room at the Warren Towers, call Susan Lappin in the Alumni Office at (617) 353-1815. For those of you who have enjoyed the Boston Pops and are interested in attending in May, please call the Alumni Office for ticket requests.\u00a0 The tickets are $52 each.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We will also begin to accept nominations for Sargent\u2019s prestigious <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/sargent\/\/research\/grants\/sar-review-committee\/record-retention\/facilities-events\/makechnie-study-center-external\/it\/hr-and-faculty-actions\/merit-increase-process\/hr\/faculty-actions\/online-programs\/\/\/\/2009\/10\/21\/alumni-awards\/\">Alumni Awards.<\/a>\u00a0 The application deadline for nominations is Friday, January 31, 2010.\u00a0 Because of the increase in nominations, we encourage you to submit them early.\u00a0 If you need additional information, please contact <a href=\"mailto:sklappin@bu.edu\">Susan Lappin <\/a>directly.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office directly. \u00a0We look forward to seeing you in May!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s that time of year again!
