To help interested rowers achieve this level of athleticism, the BU Athletic Enhancement Center is now offering The Complete Rower as part of the Complete Athlete workshop series.<\/p>\n<p>Any level rower looking to advance their skills can benefit from this educational workshop. The Complete Rower will help participants row more efficiently while also teaching them how to prevent injury. The workshop brings together staff members from the Athletic Enhancement Center and the Physical Therapy Center to work with athletes on specific training to meet their rowing needs. Staff members will emphasize peak performance by coaching participants in smarter training, proper nutrition and building confidence. The ratio of staff to athletes is purposely kept low in order to allow each participant individualized attention.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEach participant will receive the individualized help they need to reach their full potential,\u201d explains Noel Vigue, M.ED., CSCS, <em><span>strength and conditioning coach. \u201cThese workshops are an efficient and fun way to really advance to that next stage of athleticism.\u201d<\/span><\/em>. \u201cThese workshops are an efficient and fun way to really advance to that next stage of athleticism.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Complete Rower workshop will run from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at BU\u2019s Ryan Center for Sports Medicine. The clinic is $119 and requires pre-registration.
