The ASC student services and advising team can answer questions about student and registration policies and procedures and can connect students to resources across BU.<\/p>\n<p>A primary function of the ASC is to support undergraduate advising. Sargent College offers undergraduate students a dual advising model. Students are supported by both professional academic advisors through the Academic Service Center (ASC) and faculty mentors within their major departments. This model ensures that students receive comprehensive guidance that integrates academic planning with career exploration and discipline-specific mentorship.<\/p>\n<p>Undergraduate Academic Advisors can assist with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding and completing degree requirements<\/li>\n<li>Navigating BU Hub general education requirements<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing and planning term-by-term course schedules<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing AP, IB, and transfer credit policies<\/li>\n<li>Exploring Double Majors, Dual Degree Programs, and Minors<\/li>\n<li>Intra-University Transfer (IUT) and Study Abroad planning<\/li>\n<li>Addressing personal or social concerns that may impact academics<\/li>\n<li>Supporting students experiencing academic difficulty or on academic probation<\/li>\n<li>Referring
