Does BU require supplemental applications?
Our supplemental application is designed to create a Boston University ID number which is required to finalize and submit an application. If an applicant has a prior affiliation with Boston University, they will most likely already have an existing BU ID number and will be prompted to connect their existing BU login credentials to their application through this process. Applicants who don’t have a prior affiliation with Boston University will be automatically assigned a new BU ID number through this process.
Once an applicant has been assigned a new BU ID or connected an existing BU ID, the system will prompt the applicant to submit a $0 payment. While there is no fee, this step is required to finalize this supplemental form.
