2018 Ski Trip Info & Ticket Sale

November 13th, 2017

SAGE is preparing for another Ski Trip in January!

As always, this annual tradition is the best way to kick off the 2018 Spring semester! This year, we are heading to Sugarloaf Resort in Maine, which features lots of slopes for all skill levels. Surrounded by Maine’s Western Mountains in the heart of the Carrabassett Valley, Sugarloaf offers the only lift-serviced above treeline skiing in the East. Offering 1,230 skier and rider accessible acres and a continuous 2,820ft vertical, Sugarloaf is Maine’s second highest peak. The annual snowfall totals 200 inches and 14 lifts provide access to 161 trails and glades and 3 progressive terrain parks. We will lodge at Sugarloaf Village Condos, which is in the heart of Sugarloaf’s main base area and features full kitchen amenities.

This year, the trip costs $160 for SAGE members and $200 for SAGE guests. Every SAGE member who signs up for the trip is allowed to bring 1 guest (non-SAGE member) with them. Please keep in mind that we only have a limited number of tickets for guests given that we are limited to only two buses.

Tickets will go sale on Eventbrite starting at 10 am on November 15th

The ticket includes 2-day lift pass, 2 nights of lodging, and charter bus from/to BU. Optional equipment rentals are available. Lessons will be on sale at a later date.

Meet at Marsh Chapel at 2PM on Friday 1/26 to load buses. Depart at 2:30PM for Sugarloaf. We will return to BU Sunday (1/28) evening.
