His research interests include Mediterranean Studies, medieval theories of hermeneutics and authorship, brief-narratives collections and translation. His first book project, <em>Boccaccio and the Cultural Hybridity of the Neapolitan Court of Alfonso the Magnanimous (c. 1442-58)<\/em>, examines the role of Boccaccio\u2019s <em>opere minori<\/em> in the multi-lingual literary production during the Aragonese age of the Kingdom of Naples. He has published articles in the rhetoric of the genre \u201cinfiernos de amor\u201d in Castilian poetry and in the reformulation of Boccaccio\u2019s anti-feminine discourse in Catalan prose. His other publications include digital editions of the medieval Spanish <a href=\"http:\/\/hispanicseminary.org\/docs\/hsmscat2020.pdf\"><em>Fiammetta<\/em><\/a> (Hispanic Seminary of Medieval Studies, 2018) and a pedagogical edition of Mar\u00eda de Zayas\u2019 short story <a href=\"https:\/\/hcommons.org\/deposits\/item\/hc:29111\/\"><em>The Power of Love<\/em><\/a> (Open Iberia \/ Am\u00e9rica: Teaching Anthology, 2019).<\/p>\n<p>As a translator, he has published Catalan translations of Oscar Wilde\u2019s essays <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quadernscrema.com\/cataleg\/la-decadencia-de-la-mentida\/\"><em>The Decay of Lying<\/em><\/a> (Quaderns Crema, 2014) and <a href=\"https:\/\/elageminada.cat\/el-critic-com-a-artista\"><em>The Critic as Artist<\/em><\/a> (Ela Geminada, 2020), and he has recently completed a Catalan translation of Boccaccio\u2019s <em>Elegia di madonna<\/em> <em>Fiammetta<\/em> (Ela Geminada, forthcoming).
