Edgardo was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He earned his PhD from Boston University\u2019s Department of Romance Studies in 2022.<\/p>\n
His research focuses on 20th-century Mexican literature and film, specifically, the representation of revolutions and insurgency.\u00a0His work explores bodily abjection as a literary and cinematic trope that enables novel, critical approaches to the study of the Mexican Revolution and its cultural archive.
