The mission of our journal is to create a shared space for creations and critical essays both by the undergraduate and graduate student body and by established authors, artists and critics. We publish the journal online and in print; you can look at the previous issues in the following link: <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.nyu.edu\/esferas\/\">https:\/\/wp.nyu.edu\/esferas\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The upcoming edition of Esferas includes a dossier focusing on the idea of Cross\/Currents, highlighting the themes of mobility, transmission, and transit.\u00a0 We accept creative and analytical works related or unrelated to the theme of our dossier.<\/p>\n<p>We are accepting submissions for this year\u2019s Esferas until January 15th, 2023, but welcome and encourage you to submit before then!\u00a0 Attached is all the information for this year\u2019s submission process.<\/p>\n<p>We would greatly appreciate it if you could pass along this information and the attached call sheet to the rest of the students and professors within your department.\u00a0 The hope is to expand our reach to create a journal full of creative and analytical thinkers as an extension of our community here at NYU.\u00a0 We would love to include work done by members of the BU community in this edition all about currents and interspatial activity.<\/p>\n<p>In order to be considered, please submit your work and short bio in English to <a href=\"mailto:esferas.submissions@gmail.com%3cmailto:esferas.submissions@gmail.com\">esferas.submissions@gmail.com&lt;mailto:esferas.submissions@gmail.com<\/a>&gt;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have and our team looks forward to hearing from you and viewing any submissions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Esferas is the undergraduate-run journal of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at NYU.
