Study French at Boston University<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

BU\u2019s French Studies program<\/a> offers undergraduate students of all levels a rich experience in reading and interpreting a wide variety of literary, cinematic, linguistic, and cultural texts.\u00a0French is a global language, and our courses will introduce you to readings and films from all over the French-speaking world, from Europe and Canada to Africa, the Caribbean, and beyond.\u00a0Students of all levels appreciate our small courses, taught by experienced, award-winning faculty<\/a>, on a wide array of topics<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As a French major<\/a>\u00a0or minor<\/a>, you can benefit from our world-class language lab at the Geddes Center<\/a>\u00a0and enjoy the annual film festival<\/a> run by our graduate students. You can fulfill many of your Hub requirements<\/a> through your French studies, and you can count Study Abroad<\/a> classes towards the major and minor as well.<\/p>\n

All majors must complete 10 courses, and each minor must complete 6.Out of these courses, majors must fulfill each of the\u00a0 distributional requirements outlined below.<\/span><\/p>\n
