Overview

The Boston University NROTC unit is headquartered at Boston University, but also supports NROTC students from Boston College and Northeastern University. Our program is both challenging and enriching, and molds college freshmen into capable military leaders over their four years of undergraduate study. Read on if you are up to the challenge.

What we ask of you

  1. Participation in military physical training (twice per week)
  2. Participation in military leadership training (two-hour seminar on Wednesday)
  3. Enrollment in one NROTC military development class per semester
  4. Basic calculus and physics class completion for prospective Navy officers (excluding Marines and nurses)
  5. Maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale
  6. Active participation in battalion events and organization
  7. Interest in serving in the U.S. Navy or Marine Corps after graduation
