Boston University Naval ROTC takes pride in offering its midshipmen the opportunity to receive an education at the country’s finest universities while working towards a commission in the United States Navy or United States Marine Corps. As a member of the Battalion, you will develop leadership skills and naval knowledge through the mentorship of senior officers, classroom discussion, and practical application. As a graduate of our program, you will be exceptionally well-prepared for whatever naval career you choose to follow.

Current Boston University and Boston College freshmen or sophomores or Northeastern University Nursing students, please contact our recruiting officer for information about an NROTC scholarship and a Navy or Marine Corps commission as an officer following graduation.
Please note that the NROTC program at Boston University is open to undergraduate students at Boston University and Boston College and undergraduate nursing students at Northeastern University. BU NROTC is not open to any other schools in the Boston area. The MIT NROTC program has crosstown agreements with Harvard University and Tufts University.
All prospective students interested in competing for a NROTC scholarship at Boston University, Northeastern, or Boston College are required to conduct an interview with a Naval Officer as part of the application process.
