Other topics covered \u2013 relational data model, SQL and manipulating relational data; applications programming for relational databases; physical characteristics of databases; achieving performance and reliability with database systems; object-oriented and distributed information systems. 4 credits.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Restrictions: <\/strong>This course may not be taken in conjunction with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/csmet\/academic-programs\/courses\/csmet\/cs669\">CS 669<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/csmet\/academic-programs\/courses\/csmet\/cs469\">CS 469<\/a> (undergraduate).
