Online Safety Training Modules now available for laboratory workers in Blackboard Vista."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>New online training modules are now available in Blackboard Vista.   These modules are an alternative to the classroom Laboratory Safety   Training. The training is broken down into modules so that you only have   to take modules pertaining to your work and the type of lab you work   in. The following modules are currently available:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Universal Lab Safety Training<\/li>\n<li>Biosafety Level 1 and 2 Training<\/li>\n<li>Chemical Safety Training<\/li>\n<li>Bloodborne Pathogen Training<\/li>\n<li>PI Training Module<\/li>\n<li>LSC Training Module<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To log into these training modules, log into your <a title=\"RIMS\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/rims\" target=\"_blank\">RIMS account<\/a> and choose &#8220;Take the course&#8221; from any of the above trainings.\u00a0 To obtain a RIMS Training Profile, please follow the instructions on the <a title=\"RIMS Training Profile Registration\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/rims\/training-registration\/\" target=\"_blank\">RIMS Training Profile Registration page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, please see the <a href=\"\/orctraining\/files\/2011\/09\/Online-Training-Tutorial.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Online Laboratory Safety Training Module Introduction and Tutorial<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New online training modules are now available in Blackboard Vista.
