William P. Segarra

Bill joined the Industry Engagement office in September, 2019 after serving as Director of Industry Contracts and Agreements in Boston University’s Sponsored Program office. For the past twenty years, he has been involved in the drafting, negotiating, executing and managing all forms of research-oriented agreements on behalf of major academic research institution as well as on behalf of
pharmaceutical companies.

Bill’s role at Industry Engagement is to handle all industry-supported sponsored research agreements and industry-supported clinical trial agreements, confidential disclosure agreements (CDAs), incoming Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs), unfunded research collaboration agreements, data use agreements (DUAs) and equipment loan agreements.

Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Boston University, a Master of Arts degrees in Political Science from Northeastern University, a Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University and Master of Executive Master of Public Health degree from UCLA.
