Elizabeth Carlson

Ms. Carlson joined the Technology Development Office at Boston University in March 2011 and is currently responsible for all transactional work related to the life sciences intellectual property portfolio. Prior to joining Boston University, Ms. Carlson worked as an Associate Counsel in Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Office of General Counsel, where she was responsible for advising on a wide range of intellectual property and research matters. Before that, Ms. Carlson had been an Industry Agreement Associate with Massachusetts General Hospital’s Office of Corporate Sponsored Research and Licensing, where she handled various research, licensing and other technology transfer matters. Ms. Carlson has also been an associate attorney in several law firms and advised clients in the areas of intellectual property and corporate transactions.

Ms. Carlson graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and received her Juris Doctor degree from Boston University School of Law. Ms. Carlson is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
