Throughout higher education there is a growing impetus to incorporate data into decision making. One focus is the growing availability of bibliometrics, or the collection and analysis of data about books, articles, and other publications. SciVal, one of the leading sources of bibliometric data for academic institutions⁠, is available for free to all BU faculty and staff. Join the Office of Research for a deeper look into the various metrics and tools available in the SciVal database, during this virtual workshop. This session is primarily intended for users with a basic working knowledge of the SciVal database, but all are welcome to attend.
