Effective June 18, all BUMC, CRC IACUC submissions will go through new software

Researchers and their staff should be aware of the following deadlines leading up to the launch of Click, the new IACUC software:

June 1: Deadline for all IACUC submissions. Submissions made after June 1 may have to be reentered into Click
June 11 – 15: INSPIR data freeze: no changes may be made in INSPIR
June 18: Use of Click begins for both BUMC and CRCCharles River Campus

All protocol, renewal, and amendment submissions that cannot wait until after Click goes live must be submitted by June 1. If you cannot make the June 1 deadline, please contact the IACUC office as soon as possible. Submissions received after June 1 may have to be reentered in Click.

In order to migrate protocol information from INSPIR, there will be a five-day data freeze where no changes to protocols may be made in INSPIR. This data freeze is scheduled for June 11 to 15, 2018. During this data freeze, the protocol shells will be migrated from INSPIR into Click. Shells for CRC protocols will also be created during this time. Once the protocol shells are created, a PDF of the currently approved protocol will be attached and will serve as the document of reference during the transition period.

Use of Click for all IACUC protocol management will begin on June 18, 2018. Click will be used for both BUMC and CRC and will replace INSPIR and paper protocols.

Training sessions will be held beginning the first week in June. Stay tuned for more information!
