The NIH LRP program is now accepting applicants and this year the deadline is November 21, 2024. The LRPs offer unique opportunities with significant benefits to early-stage researchers. The LRP can provide up to $100,000 towards federal and private student loans in exchange for a two-year commitment to conducting qualified research.<\/p>\n<p>To assist with sharing this opportunity:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicants can <a href=\"https:\/\/nih.zoomgov.com\/webinar\/register\/WN_uyOxVCdbQFOczUNVLX8ZRw#\/registration\">register for a webinar<\/a> to be held October 7th<\/li>\n<li>LRP has a brief <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=m8NeWueSnR8\">three-minute video<\/a> that gives an overview of the program<\/li>\n<li>Below is a copy of the NIH LRP brochure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Questions regarding the LRP through Boston University should be directed to the BU Institutional Business Official Shelly Stewardson, Director Special Projects, Policy, and Process at <a href=\"mailto:sds@bu.edu\">sds@bu.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Questions regarding the LRP through BMC should be directed to <a href=\"mailto:LRP@bmc.org\">LRP@bmc.org.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Apply for an NIH Loan Repayment Programs (LRP) Award<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"responsive-table\"><table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>We are excited to announce that applications for the NIH Extramural LRP are now open through <strong>November 21, 2024<\/strong>.
