Gun<\/span>s are a leading cause of death and disability in the US. Addressing the challenge of gun<\/span> violence<\/span> requires novel research to support a new generation of policies and programs. <\/span><\/p>\n

This Research on Tap will highlight cutting-edge work from across BU to understand, prevent, and respond to the impacts of interpersonal violence<\/span>, self-harm, and accidental injuries involving gun<\/span>s. About Research on Tap<\/h3>\n

The Research on Tap series, sponsored by the BU Office of Research, brings together groups of BU researchers around important topics. At each event, 10-12 researchers present a maximum of four slides and deliver a four-minute \u201celevator pitch\u201d of their work. Research on Tap events are open to faculty, staff, postdocs, and graduate students.
