For answers to these questions and more, join Dominik Doemer and Madana Mohsenzadegan from <a href=\"https:\/\/scholars.org\/\">Scholars Strategy Network<\/a> (SSN) for a remote, interactive workshop to learn how to write and pitch compelling, research-based op-eds.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, attendees will learn more about:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Crafting a good lead<\/li>\n<li>Identifying and incorporating timely news hooks<\/li>\n<li>Signaling their unique and relevant expertise<\/li>\n<li>Structuring op-eds for maximum impact<\/li>\n<li>Pitching to different media outlets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/scholars.org\/staff\/dominik-doemer\">Dominik Doemer<\/a> is Scholars Strategy Network\u2019s Director of Communications. He leads SSN&#8217;s communications team&#8217;s media work with over 1,600 members and oversees SSN&#8217;s organizational communications strategy. In his day to day, Dominik helps researchers connect with the media, write opinion pieces for popular outlets, and develop a media strategy for their work. <a href=\"https:\/\/scholars.org\/staff\/mandana-mohsenzadegan\">Madana Mohsenzadegan<\/a> is SSN\u2019s Communications Associate.
