Visiting Faculty and Staff<\/h3>\n

University Faculty may invite Visiting Faculty and Research Scholars to join their research, as long as they meet required criteria and pending completion of all correct procedures. Visiting Students<\/h3>\n

University faculty may also invite visiting students to join their research. Learn more about eligibility criteria and the procedures for inviting these students with this Visiting Students policy<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Outgoing<\/h2>\n

BU researchers planning to work at and\/or collaborate with other institutions\u2013including, but not limited to, other universities, medical centers, federal research labs, and for-profit companies\u2013may encounter a variety of policies, procedures and requirements. Researchers are encouraged to reach out to Technology Development (otd@bu.edu<\/a>) with questions and concerns.<\/p>\n

In most cases, research institutions will assert an interest in any intellectual property that is developed out of your work there. Consult with Technology Development to understand your rights and responsibilities. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\n
