Dimensions Database<\/a><\/h3>\n

A tool available to BU faculty and staff to help find collaborators, funding opportunities, abstracts of funded work in your field, and to compare your funding sources to others doing related research<\/p>\n

SciVal Database<\/a><\/h3>\n

SciVal is a tool for users seeking access to bibliometric data to<\/span> evaluate research at the individual, group, or institution level; examine trends in the research landscape; identify potential collaborators; and analyze research using custom searches.<\/p>\n

BU Experts<\/span><\/a><\/h3>\n

This database of BU faculty experts is maintained by BU Public Relations as a directory for media looking for expert commentary and analysis. It can be filtered by expertise, field, name, or school.<\/p>\n

BU Profiles<\/span><\/a><\/h3>\n

BU Profiles is a tool that supports research networking and expertise searches. It enables individuals (either internal or external to BU) to locate researchers by subject matter, name, institution, department, and more. <\/span>At present, BU Profiles only lists research and clinical staff <\/span>involved in basic science, clinical or translational research at BU’s Medical Campus (with a few exceptions).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Database of Clinical & Biomedical Research Studies<\/a><\/h3>\n

The Boston University Medical Campus (BUMC) and St. Elizabeth\u2019s Medical Center (SEMC) Research Studies searchable and sortable database lists all ongoing clinical, biomedical, and other human subject research studies being conducted at BUMC and SEMC locations. <\/span><\/p>\n

BU’s University-wide centers offer support, funding, community, and resources to faculty.<\/p>\n

Facilities & Equipment<\/h2>\n

Facilities, Equipment, and Expertise available at BU<\/a><\/h3>\n

BU has many facilities on the <\/span>Medical Campus <\/span>and Charles River Campus that provide services, expertise, and instruments for high-quality research. Some labs are specific to their supporting groups; most are available on a fee-<\/a>for-service basis to researchers both inside and outside the University.<\/p>\n

Business Innovation Center<\/a><\/h3>\n

Boston University has some of the finest on-campus business incubation facilities in the United States, including the Business Innovation Center at the Photonics Center. This 15,000 net square foot facility currently houses 17 companies with the flexibility to adjust space configuration to accommodate growing companies or increase the number of companies in the launch phase.<\/span><\/p>\n

Massachusetts Green High Performance Computing Center<\/a><\/h3>\n

The Massachusetts Green High Performance Computing Center (MGHPCC) provides state-of-the-art infrastructure for computationally intensive research. MGHPCC is a collaboration among BU and four other research-intensive universities in the Boston area. Computers at the MGHPCC run millions of virtual experiments every month supporting thousands of researchers in Massachusetts and around the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

Life Sciences Research Equipment Database<\/a><\/h3>\n

A searchable database of equipment accessible to the broader research community. Maintained by the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center<\/a>, an investment agency that supports life sciences innovation, research, development and commercialization.<\/p>\n

Networking & Events<\/h2>\n
