A physician is available 24\/7 to assist you with providing the appropriate treatment and link to ID physician if needed.<\/p>\n<h3>Post-Exposure First-Aid<\/h3>\n<h4>Skin Exposure (needle-stick or scratch)<\/h4>\n<p>Immediately go to the sink and thoroughly wash the wound with soap and water for 15 minutes. Decontaminate any exposed skin surfaces with an antiseptic scrub solution.<\/p>\n<h4>Mucous Membrane Splash to Eye(s), Nose, or Mouth:<\/h4>\n<p>Exposure should be irrigated vigorously for 15 minutes.<\/p>\n<h4>Splash Affecting Garments:<\/h4>\n<p>Remove garments that may have become soiled or contaminated and place them in a double red plastic bag.<\/p>\n<p>Employee should provide the wallet-sized agent ID card to the treating physician.
