Your responsibilities as an Irradiator User are listed below.<\/p>\n

  1. You must attend Irradiator Training.<\/li>\n
  2. You MUST NOT allow untrained or unauthorized persons to operate the irradiator.<\/li>\n
  3. You must obtain an iris scan at security to access the room where the irradiator is located.<\/li>\n
  4. The key to the irradiator must remain in the room.<\/li>\n
  5. You must use the on-line schedule to sign up to use the irradiator.<\/li>\n
  6. You must remove your trash and other unwanted items and clean the target chamber before leaving the irradiator room.<\/li>\n
  7. You must sign the irradiator log book maintained in the room after using the device.<\/li>\n
  8. You must have an active IBC and\/or IACUC approval to irradiate specimens or animals.<\/li>\n
  9. You must report any problems such as malfunctions to the Radiation Protection Office at 8-7052 as soon as possible.<\/li>\n
  10.
