Supporting Social Sciences Research and Grantseekers

Featuring Nancy Ammerman, Associate Dean of the Faculty (Social Sciences), and Professor, Sociology, CAS and STH; Diane Baldwin, Associate Vice President for Sponsored Programs; Cheryl Knott, Associate Professor, Anthropology, CAS; and Marla Krauss, Proposal Development Specialist, CAS

For faculty seeking grants to support social sciences research, writing successful grant proposals and navigating the process of submitting materials to potential sponsors is a demanding and time consuming process. Faculty and staff representatives from across BU will discuss the grant lifecycle and BU sponsored programs infrastructure. Attend to hear about best practices and network with colleagues who want to help you obtain funding for social sciences research.

Please note: this event is open to the entire BU community, and researchers in all non-grant-intensive fields are welcome to attend to learn about BU’s Sponsored Programs structure.
