Year End Planning and Holiday Deadlines 2024
In observance of Intersession break, the University will be closed starting at 5pm on Friday, December 20, 2024, re-opening 9am Thursday, January 2, 2025. During this break, Sponsored Programs staff will not be available to approve or process any proposals or other sponsored research actions, including purchase requisitions and financial reports.
Therefore, to help with the planning, all items due between Monday, December 16, 2024 and Friday, January 3, 2025 must be submitted to your SP Officer no later than Monday, December 9, 2024. This includes all invoices that may need to be submitted on or before December 30. This will allow staff enough time to review and process items due before and during the break and in the first few days in January when we return.
In addition, all purchase requisitions requiring Property Management’s approval must be submitted by the end of the day on Wednesday, December 18th. This deadline ensures that both Property Management and Sponsored Programs have sufficient time to review and approve the requests before the Intersession period.
