The McKnight Endowment Fund for Neuroscience supports innovative research with the promise to bring society closer to preventing, treating, and curing many devastating diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, and many others.
Neuroscience Program Manager Joel Krogstad will join us to discuss the Fund’s two signature programs:
- Neurobiology of Brain Disorders Awards, for faculty at any career stage – letters of intent are due Monday, November 4.
- Scholar Awards, for early-career faculty – 2025 applications will be due Monday, January 13.
BU faculty member Steve Ramirez, Associate Professor of Psychological & Brain Sciences, will also share his experiences as a previous recipient of a McKnight Memory and Cognitive Disorders Award (the precursor to the Neurobiology of Brain Disorders Awards program).
Faculty members will learn about program priorities, receive tips for successful submissions, and have a chance to ask questions.
