Finding Funding for Lung Disease Research: Meet the American Lung Association (2022)

Host: Foundation Relations

Are you looking for funding to study lung diseases? The American Lung Association (ALA) is a leading national funder of basic, behavioral, clinical, and translational research for lung health. It has funded research on allergy, asthma, immunology, cystic fibrosis, interstitial lung disease, COVID-19, lung cancer, and other related conditions. Join us for this virtual event to learn about the ALA’s research grant programs. Deadlines for five of the ALA’s grant programs are December 15, so this is the ideal time to learn more about the ALA’s grant-making priorities.

Albert Rizzo, M.D., FACP., Chief Medical Officer of the American Lung Association, will lead this conversation after an introduction from Pulmonary Center Director Professor Joseph P. Mizgerd.
