{"id":9,"date":"2010-07-21T15:42:09","date_gmt":"2010-07-21T20:42:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/remotesensing\/index_placeholder\/facilities\/"},"modified":"2022-11-29T17:58:38","modified_gmt":"2022-11-29T22:58:38","slug":"resources","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/remotesensing\/about\/resources\/","title":{"rendered":"CRS Resources"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We offer access to a high-performance computer cluster and cutting-edge lab facilities, equipment, and collaboration spaces.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"computing\">High-Performance Computing and Software<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/remotesensing\/files\/2020\/02\/sccphoto1_sm.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2591 alignleft\" width=\"200\" height=\"270\" \/>As a part of Boston University, the center has access to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/tech\/support\/research\/computing-resources\/scc\/\">Shared Computing Cluster (SCC)<\/a>.\u00a0<span>As of 2020, 240,000 CPU cores on a Linux cluster are available as shared or buy-in resources, with six petabytes of storage. And with two pairs of 10 Gigabit Ethernet network connections between the SCC and BU&#8217;s campuses, we have ample data transfer speed.
