Moody is a PhD student specializing in the Religions in American Culture under the direction of Prof. Margarita Guillory. His areas of interest include religious traditions in the African-diaspora (particularly Gullah-Geechee communities), modern forms of Africana religiosity in the Americas, Black Liberation Theology with particular focus on non-Christian perspectives, and existentialism as it pertains to modernity as a threat to blackness.<\/span><span>\u00a0 <\/span><span>Delvin holds a dual-bachelor\u2019s degree in\u00a0Political Science\u00a0and\u00a0Religion from University of Rochester, a master&#8217;s degree with distinction in Religion from Colgate University, and a Master of Sacred Theology degree from Union Theological Seminary of New York City.
