A\u00a0notarized<\/a>\u00a0document is one that has been marked with a stamp\u00a0or seal to indicate that a signature is legitimate. In the age of identity theft and lawsuits, this tells the recipient of the document that it is authentic and should not be deemed fraudulent.<\/p>\n

We will only notarize Boston University documents produced by the Registrar\u2019s Office which will validate the University Registrar or staff member’s signature. You must complete the below form to request notary services. Due to remote operations we will only mail notarized documents. There is no option for walk-in requests or to pick up completed documents.<\/strong><\/p>\n
